Call of Duty: Mobile did not tiptoe into the holidays—it kicked the lodge door open. Season 11 — Winter War 2 arrived on December 11 at 4 PM PT with a festive playlist, a brand-new Multiplayer mode, and enough seasonal rewards to make a snowman sweat. For players doing a late-season archive dive in 2026, the update still reads like a clean holiday package: Demolition for the tacticians, Big Head Blizzard for the chaos gremlins, and Winter Prop Hunt for anyone who has ever wanted to be a present with a grudge.

Demolition finally reports for duty

Demolition makes its Call of Duty: Mobile debut, and honestly, it is about time. Two teams alternate between attacking and defending two designated bomb sites, and the attacking side must destroy both. Operators respawn throughout the match, so the pace runs quicker than limited-life modes like Search & Destroy and Control. Destroying the first site grants extra time, then the teams switch sides for round two. If the score is tied after that, a third round decides the winner. Simple, loud, and very cold.

Big heads, bigger blizzards

Big Head Blizzard returns on Summit, and the mode does exactly what the name promises. Eliminations inflate a player's head, and a long enough streak turns the Operator into a bobblehead-like character with a melee weapon and extra health. Normal health recovery is disabled, so teammates heal each other by shooting them. No kidding—friendly fire becomes a support role. Each round has limited respawns, so streaks matter, and the enemy team had better keep moving.

Winter Prop Hunt brings its own holiday mischief. Operators transform into winter-themed items—trees wrapped in lights, presents, snowmen—while teams take turns hiding from each other. It is a Limited Time Mode that returns only for the winter holidays, which gives it a nice seasonal sparkle. Players who miss it may have to wait for the next snow.

Rewards that jingle

Logging in and playing matches earns pieces of a Legendary reskin for the Purifier Operator Skill. The design is green and black with a central coolant line running over the body. Collect every piece to assemble the full reward.

Two holiday-themed events add more cheer. One event has players decorate their own tree and earn the Epic PP19 Bizon — Sleighliner plus several other rare items. Winter Wish offers Epic Weapon Blueprints such as the ASM10 — Leonine Guardian and Fennec — Lair of Ice, along with several Rare Blueprints. Tis the season of giving, after all.

New loadout items arrive too. The hard-hitting, high-capacity RAAL MG LMG storms onto the Battle Pass, while the Douser Tactical Grenade clears dangerous ground effects. The Douser counters fire and napalm, plus Thermite, Cryo Bomb, and Storm Ball, clearing them on contact. The season also names the Extinguisher Tactical, giving players another tool for wiping away hazardous ground.

Challenge HQ keeps the grind festive. Standard, Special, and Elite Missions feed the Season 11 Challenge Pass, and Challenge Tokens buy items in the Exchange. Those rewards include the Charly — Chilled and Cozy Operator Skin and a vintage-themed reskin for the UAV.

Her Draw also includes the Dobvra — Yggdrasil Pistol, a frozen sidearm capable of shattering the competition, and the Fiona St. George — Eternal Blizzard Operator Skin.

A new Mythic Fan Vote also appears in-game, letting players vote on which Mythic Weapon and Legendary Operator Skin become discounted. The Battle Pass Vault adds Season 8 — 2nd Anniversary content, including long-awaited classic Operators like Price — Bravo 6 and General Shepherd.

The bottom line

Let's be real: Winter War 2 is a layered seasonal update that gives every type of player a lane. Demolition rewards coordination, Big Head Blizzard rewards confident chaos, and Winter Prop Hunt rewards a good poker face. The Battle Pass, Challenge HQ, holiday events, and Store draws keep the reward treadmill wrapped in tinsel.

For players checking the archive in 2026, the update stands as a tidy snapshot of how Call of Duty: Mobile blends limited-time modes with a holiday storefront. The snow may be seasonal, but the checklist is timeless: modes first, rewards second, store chaos third. Season 11 — Winter War 2 launched on December 11 at 4 PM PT, and the blizzard did not wait for anyone.
