Call of Duty Mobile Season 5: The Boys Invade, And I Am Officially Homelander Now
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 — Revenge brings The Boys, chaotic superpowers, Armored Royale, and thrilling multiplayer and Battle Royale action.
I have a confession to make: I have never wanted to shoot lasers out of my eyes more than I do right now. Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 — Revenge has arrived, and it brought the entire unhinged cast of The Boys with it. As someone who has spent an embarrassing number of hours pretending to be a tactical professional while actually just sliding around corners and screaming, this is the season that finally lets me be the supervillain I always suspected I was.

Let me walk you through everything, because there is a lot, and I have opinions.
The Boys Are Here, And They Are Not Sorry
"To those who seek to destroy me, the non-believers and backstabbers… I offer oblivion." That's Homelander, obviously. The man has never met a sentence he couldn't turn into a threat. And now you can embody that energy in two themed game modes — one for Multiplayer and one for Battle Royale.
The Multiplayer mode is a beautifully chaotic twist on Super Attack of the Undead. Everyone spawns as one of three Supes: Homelander, Starlight, or Black Noir. Then one unlucky soul becomes the undead, and their job is to convert everybody else. The undead get speed, agility, and melee. The Supes get guns. It's basically a horror movie where the monsters are fast and you're holding a shotgun you forgot to reload.
And the last survivor? They get a panic-button power:
-
Starlight 🌟 — a shockwave that slows every zombie caught in the radius. Crowd control with a smile.
-
Black Noir 🥷 — pulls out a katana and gains extra movement speed with every elimination. Snowballing, but make it anime.
-
Homelander 👁️ — hovers in the air and shoots lasers from his eyes while managing an overheat meter. Yes, it's exactly as dumb and amazing as it sounds.
Temp V: Because Good Decisions Are Boring
Over in Battle Royale, Vought International is apparently doing unlicensed deliveries across Isolated. Grab a dose of Temp V and you get one of four random superpowers, consumed on activation.
| Power | What It Does | My Reaction |
|---|---|---|
| Charge Jump | Leap absurd distances, ignore fall damage, damage enemies where you land | Aggressive, rude, perfect |
| Laser Vision | Levitate and fire eye beams at anyone in your crosshairs | Cinema |
| Electric Shockwave | Pulse that damages enemies and disables vehicles and equipment | Sneaky and evil |
| Blink | Mark a spot and teleport to it instantly | My escape plan, finally viable |

Armored Royale: Bring Your Own Tank, Bring Your Own Problems
Armored Royale is the squad mode where you spawn next to a personal armored vehicle — and that vehicle is your spawn point. Keep it alive. Upgrade it with cash from objectives. Hunt down repair stations. If you die while your ride is intact, you respawn after a cooldown. If your ride is scrap, you're heading to a Buy Station for a redeploy marker like some kind of pedestrian.
Last team standing wins. I have already destroyed my own vehicle twice. I will not be elaborating.
The Grind: Factions, Duels, and Passes
Pick a side — The Boys or the Dawn of the Seven — and earn faction points for over a dozen Epic rewards, including the Holger 26 — Saved the Day Again blueprint and the Manta Ray — Maritime Operator Skin. Finish one faction's assignments and you unlock the other with accelerated progression, which is a genuinely nice touch for completionists like me who cannot stop.
There's also a 1v1 Duel event with reworked round structure and updated maps, dishing out the Epic BK57 — Power in Number.

The Revenge Battle Pass brings free and premium goodies, headlined by the new BAL-27, a bullpup assault rifle whose fire rate accelerates through sustained fire. Free tiers also include a Stealth Chopper reskin, camos, and calling cards. Premium unlocks skins like Bulldog — The Responder, BBQ — Oktoberfest, and Klepto — The Dissenter, plus blueprints such as LW3-Tundra (SP) — Moving Up, RPD — Hammered, Vargo-S — Medic's Best Friend, PPSh-41 — Bagel and Schmear, and BAL-27 — Underground.
The Challenge Pass runs on Standard, Special, and Elite Missions feeding Tokens into an Exchange for seasonal items — including a Modern Warfare 2-themed Stealth Chopper reskin.
